Padraig’s career focused on Business Insurance in the Insurance Broking sector up until 1998 when the Power Lynch brokerage was sold to Willis. This allowed him to focus on an opportunity to develop a solution for the distribution of Personal Lines Insurance to Consumers in the Irish market.

Padraig founded Chill Insurance which has grown to be the largest distributor of Personal Lines Insurance in the Irish market. An MGA, Ivernia, was also formed in 2016 to provide Motor capacity to customers of the Chill Group. The success of Chill is linked to its investment in Technology, Brand, People and a focus on the customers needs. Since Livingbridge acquired a majority shareholding in the Chill Group in 2020, Padraig holds a non-executive director role on the board.
